What you get

Your own database already records every key event. PostHog adds session replays, so a bug report or a funnel drop comes with video of what actually happened.

Steps

Create a PostHog project and copy the project API key into NEXT_PUBLIC_POSTHOG_KEY. Set NEXT_PUBLIC_POSTHOG_HOST to your region.
Turn on Session replay (form inputs are masked by default).
If you market to the EU or UK, turn on consentBanner in Admin → Settings.

Check it works

Click around your site, then find the session in PostHog a minute later.
