What you get
A promo studio in the admin. Pick what a promo is about (something you just shipped, a customer milestone, your product, or your own idea) and it drafts a 15 to 30 second video script and captions for every platform. Preview it in vertical, square, portrait, and landscape right in the browser, edit the words, then render MP4s to download and post. The advisor suggests a promo whenever you ship something new.
Steps
- Set your brand colors in
src/config/site.ts(brand). - Admin → Promo studio: choose what the promo is about and select Draft it. With an AI key, AI writes it; without one, it uses the source's own words.
- Edit the hook, scenes (add screenshot links if you like), ending, and captions, then preview each format.
- To render on the server: connect Vercel Blob (Vercel → Storage → Blob, which sets
BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN) and redeploy. The build prepares a render machine; then Render makes the MP4 in a minute or two. - To render on your computer instead: download the promo's file from its page and run
npm run promo:render -- <file>. Videos land inout/.
Videos are made with Remotion. It's free for individuals and companies of up to 3 people; larger companies need a Remotion company license (set REMOTION_LICENSE_KEY).
